Very interesting article on old Abe. Thank you. Glad to see he still lives on in the hearts and minds of a select few. Too bad these nuggets of our history aren't taught in schools today as it would invite introspection for our ancestors.

 

Pretty impressive old schooler, sounds like they were an innovator in their time.
Advanced .......... yet not complicated............. Something we seem to have lost in our rush to be seen as "progressive" , and an " industry leader" .

Was it you that was replacing a couple holes in your engine and when you took the pistons out of the liner the rings were orientated wrong or upside down?

 

Yep ! Gaps were in line on a couple as well.
