Dash cams

I’ve had several from truckstops over the years.. all over $100 and this has better night vision than any of those...

How would you record the mirrors?

 

Rexing V1 is what I have been using for about two years, worked flawless. the cam is small, mount flush to the glass and very simple to use.

I have the dieselboss 3 cams set that video 24/24. Once I delivered and few hours later the customer called and said the cooling came damaged. I could not believe. I went to the truck and checked the side cameras and I've seen the forklift operator hitting the unit with the forks. It was right after he signed my papers and I went to put everything in the truck. I came back out right away but didn't see it when it happen.
I sent the customer the video and asked him to apologize. He did. What happen after I have no idea.
Now I'm fully convinced that having cameras on both mirrors help. Only that episode paid for the whole setup. But in like 3 years since I have them I have filmed many things that helped me to prove later that it was not my fault.
Just saying.

 

How do you like this?

 

It works fine, it has an app that I use through my phone to download videos or pics.

 

Can you download any video or pic all through the day? Or does it have to be a triggerd event from stopping fast or getting in a accident?

 

I got mine from a patrol car, see what a box of donuts will get you.
