Has anyone here heard of BUMBLE BEE DISPATCH services from GA ?
I’m going to have to get my own authority because sitting here for 2 days working for Forward Air is not an optional anymore.
So , I figure if I get my own authority and find a decent Broker/Dispatch service I might do better than where I sit now .
Thank you for all info and input given .

Can't say as I have come across them- or if I have, it hasn't been a particularly memorable experience. What kind of equipment are you running? That'll tell me if I'd have had cause to run into them.

    Whiteline64 Thanks this.

What do they charge? Are you going to factor also?
The big question is what kind of quote are you getting for insurance?

They charge 4-7% . Factoring was quoted at 3-4% . Haven’t gotten to the insurance yet , but I have bobtail insurance with Truenorth ... so when the time comes I’ll use them .

They basically dispatch everything, I will start possibly as power only , but considering what I’ve heard , I will get a dry van trailer and hopefully find team / expedited team freight.

You might want to get some insurance quotes. From other posting around here new authority is running $14-25k

Yes I have heard of them but can’t tell you anything about them , just don’t know. Why not try an intermediate step before your own authority ?

Try Landstar. That is pretty close.

If you do go to own authority I would not start out with the “dispatch service” route. Try a “power only” carrier. We did this many years ago with Interstate Distributor out of Tacoma Washington. It worked very well for us.

If you need factoring then you don’t have the financial base to start out on your own.
