Was looking for information on AS Kinard YRC Road Driver, Point Dedicated and Leonards Express. Narrowed down to these 4 and possibly Red Gold Transport. Trying to stay in upstate NY area. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven’t heard anything bad about A&S Kinard. They so seem to run nice equipment.

    bzinger and Brettj3876 Thank this.

I've been seeing AS Kinard run more territory lately. I saw one of their trucks down south recently. I've Leonard's just about everywhere. If you are trying to stay close to home, I would think YRC would be your best bet

Keep in mind with YRC you’ll probably be on call for months/years, expected to be ready to drive at a moments notice, day or night. But it’s a union job with supposedly really good benefits.

    bzinger Thanks this.

Heard they're pretty inconsistent. Which is the problem I'm having at my current employer. Free insurance though an extra 500 a month in my pocket. Most drivers on here on various companies are pretty negative. Can't really make an easy decision.

When you go to a company it's a crapshoot. If you go OTR, it's pretty much the same. That's all I can speak on. In the OTR world, whatever you put in is what you get out of it. You'll make a living but you cant expect monster checks every week because freight does slow down from time to time. The drivers that are pretty negative on here are drivers that cant make it work anywhere. They give the best reviews on orientation though.

I wonder who came up with this theory that a human can be efficient like a robot under those circumstances.
