OK, 8 weeks into JCT and I'm happy. I'm averaging 3700 a week and that includes the 5 days I went home. The best part I'm going on a mini vacation with the family next week 5 days and I shouldn't be in the hole when coming back out. That's amazing and very tough to do at many many many other companies.
I'm glad I made the move to JCT when I did, only wished I had done it earlier.
I'm picking up in Jacksonville, FL Wednesday 16:30 heading to San Antonio, TX for 0700 delivery Friday anyone running I-10 let me know.

Vulcan, I agree with that 100%. I have been a lease op for over a year now with another company and I cant wait to get over to JCT at the end of this month. When you sign a Lease you also sign an Independent contractor agreement. when signing that, you also get a 1099 at the end of the year. we are not hired by JCT. we are simple signing a contract to do work for them. and a LEASE agreement for the truck.

just booked my flight for orientation.... only $41 to fly from dallas to tulsa.... much better than a bus ride.....

Boy that sounds familiar
"For those of you that do get a lease at JCT, If you want to work you will like it. For those of you that don't, understand, JCT is not an employer looking for employees. They are looking for businesss people to enter in to an agreement (contract). They do NOT have to enter in to an agreement with anyone if they don't want to. Federal or state labor laws do not apply here. So those certain people, who THINK they have a case against JCT are just plain nutz.

WELL LETS SEE I FOUND A SMALL COMPANY IM HAPPY WITH AND WE RUN 100% LEAGLE. INTERESTING ON WHAT JCT PAYS,LETS SEE ITS JUST LIKE MARTENS LEASE PROGRAM,ONLY WHEN A DRIVER MAKES THE LAST PAYMENT IT IS HIS/HERS THERES NO DOLLAR BO...THEIR O/O RUN THE SAME MILES BY THE THEIR TRUCKS ARE WIDE OPEN THERE ARE SEVERAL COMPANIES OUT THERE WITH THE SAME FLOORMAT AS JCT.
ANYWAY HERE IS MY BRKDWN ON PAY:
1)PAID 90CPM ALL MILES AVG 3200 WEEKLY
2) THOSE THAT HAVE TRK NOTES EITHER A BANK IN KC OR MHC FINANCEING PAYMENTS ARE: $515 WEEKLY 06/07 KWS, I BOUGHT MINE FOR $58,000 WITH 315,000 MILES
(COULD NOT PASS IT UP ITS A 07 T600
3) I PAY $1300 A YEAR FOR PLATES,$1000 A YEAR FOR PERMITS
4) I PAY QUARTERLY FUEL AND AND ROAD TAXES, SO I GET ANY MONEY REFUNDED,NOT THE COMPANY IM LEASED TO
5 )$.07CPM GOES INTO MY MAINTENCE FUND
6) $336 A MONTH FOR ALL MY INSURANCE,BT,PD,OCCAC
7)FSC 80% ON REEFER LOADS THEY PAY FOR FUEL,100% ON DRY LOADS. THE LAST MONTHS AVG HAS BEEN BETWEEN .24-.27CPM. MY MPG RUNS BETWEEN 7.5-9.0 DEPENDING ON WGHT AND HOW MUCH NW I DO...MY FSC COVERS THE COST OF FUEL RUN BETWEEN 65-68 NO FASTER NO NEED IN IT MY KITTYCAT LOVES IT.
8) I TAKE TYSON OUT AND BOOK MY OWN LOADS GETTING BACK TO TYSON PLANT, NOTHING BELOW $1.75 PLUS FSC

10) DRP PAY ON TYSON LOADS $25,NURSERY ITS $50-75 A DRP
NOT INTENDING TO OFFEND OR UPSET ANYONE BUT GUYS I DID THE LEASE THING AND HONESTLY I FEEL ALOT BETTER ABOUT MYSELF AND MY BUSINESS NOW THAT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING AND I DONT HAVE TO WORK OR RUN THAT HARD ANYMORE. FOR THOSE INTERESTED THE COMPANY IM WITH IS PALENTERE BROS. THIS WILL OST LIKELY BE WHERE I RETIRE FROM, ITS NOT BAD ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND THE CRAZY ITALIANS. THE ONES THAT ARE LEASEING HERE THEIR LEASES ARE FOR 2YRS THEN THE TRUCKS ARE THEIRS.REMEMBER WE RUN 100% LEAGLE DUE TO DOT TIGHTING DOWN ON FALSEIFACATIONS......
FYI THOSE OF YOU THAT DONT KNOW BETTER CHECK MISSOURI IS GOING TO BE A TEST STATE FOR NEW DOT POLICIES CRACKING DOWN ON FALSIFACATIONS, THEY TOOK OUR SATISFACTORY AND KNOCKED IT DOWN TO CONDITIONAL FOR 6 MONTHS...
JCT DRIVERS KEEP THE POSTS COMEING THEY ARE GOOD FOR A LAUGH OR TWO.....TRUCK ON
