Just outside Oklahoma City at the J.

My truck got in the shop before 0700 this morning, and out by 1100. A quick A/B service was a very nice change.

 

I was out one day and the truck needed to go to the shop again.

There has been an intermittent engine light for some time and yesterday while that light was on the check engine light also came on and the engine derated to 55 mph.
I was about 25 miles from Joplin at the time. As I was driving I called on-road. They checked the codes and found a critical fault in the NOX sensor. I was sent to the Freightliner dealer in Joplin, as it was a warranty issue.
It was just after 1800 when I got there, but they got me right in.
The sensor replacement did not take more than an hour, but then it had to regen 5 times to get the numbers back where they should be. They finally finished me up at around 0100.

This morning I swung by the Walmart to resupply and then headed back to the Love's for fuel.
With this storm kicking in I decided to stay here until it passes. Too much snow and ice along my route to IA.

 

Shot up to portland and delivered lift gates. And we are brining floor joists down 2 stop pick up, 2 stop drop off.

DM called to congratulate me on a drive cam I had this morning. Tanker was coming on so i jumped in the left lane and as i got near the tanker a car coming up the ramp behind him jumped around him doing practically nothing. I buried the brakes just about and had a another car on my right and rail to my left. When i managed to slow down enough i couldn't see the back of the car that jumped out it was so close. At this point im halfway past the tanker.

I only had half of my load when that Darwin award nominee pulled out in front of me. Had i been maxed out i would have hit him, i have no doubt.

1hour later my DM calls me and told me he showed the whole office, even Lytyx commented on the save in the message they sent over with the video.

Student driving now, ill make the delivery in the morning, hes pretty much done, we just need to get his hours out of the way so he can upgrade, not much more for him to learn.

So am I.....hes attentive, but im glad i was the one who had to do it.

Delivered the final drop first. At the other delivery now. Swift wrote in the dispatch the 6th at 11, but its actually the 7th. So we are at the mercy of a workin atm.

 

Ok, so back to the final cause, some of this was thiers too and i mixeded up sold too and shipped too like a complete tool.

So ill be in JV at for the night slamming my head against the coffee machine until braincells wake up.
