I have never used Facebook. To me the original concept seemed worthy but as usual people have have a way of ruining everything. For example I have never heard anything good about that "Gearjammers" FB page or whatever it is called. Nothing but complaining and the spreading of rumors and half truths. Kind of like most of Facebook.

 

I have heard you guys mention lithia springs anything I should know about?

 

Not really. Follow the road around to the left of the building (there are signs) to the back. The check in door is near the right corner of the building after you get around back. I've had it be a drop & hook and live unload which they were fairly quick with. Pretty easy all around from my experience.

You have to leave the same way looping all the way back around to the front. There is an access point to leave at the opposite end of the check in point but last time I was there it was blocked off.

 

My opinion of gearjammers on fbook(which I got rid of longgggg time ago) is I assume its basically the Trenton/Richfield/CVille drivers lounge but on the internet....I hate them places so why the #### would I voluntarily want to go to them on the internet? Lol

 

Also just some info I got today. Ethan can't do our taxes this yr because of the sale and us being a public company now. Idk why it matters but its just what he told me on the phone today.

Really sucks. Was really nice getting taxes done for free by someone in the trucking industry.

 

Also you'll save yourself a lot of headaches if you go through the woods to get there if you're coming from Cartersville. Take the Red Top Mtn. exit to 41 south to GA 92 to 278. Your GPS should figure it out once you're on 92.

 

Thanks, for the info. Thank god there is very little snow or ice in ga, that place sits on top of a cliff.

 

Not sure if this is common knowledge but I just learned today. Since the Pilot/Road Ranger divorce, showers are now free at Road Rangers.

 

Isn't there something weird or awkward about delivering to United Distributors in Smyrna when the load has kegs? Share your wisdom with me.

 

Yeah. I’m assuming you have kegs on the rear? Kegs and cases unload at 2 different bldgs. Kegs unload at 1st bldg on the right beginning at 0700. Cases, you drive around to back of bldg on your left beginning at 0800. Plenty of room to move around though.
