1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Called Maverick today, they say they'll hire CDL grads on their website. They aren't.

    Who else isn't hiring grads?

Music City USA is where I am at. Western Express, I talked with one of their drivers they say they hire graduates, not tight now. Schneider on their website you click on "no experience" they aren't hiring graduates or taking students either.

The recruiter for Total says they do hire graduates, however their trainers are all busy right now. They will not take drivers from the 3 week schools. You need 44 hours of seat time on the road, not on the practice track.

He told me only Swift and another company would take me out of the 3 week school TTC.

What about USA or PAM? I know that pam had a school freeze for a little while. but both are churning out new drivers every day.

I got accepted today by US Xpress but they said there only taking students out of Illinois. I graduated a month long program with 160 plus a little more. I think they need a certain amount of hours too. I made phone calls and emails every day for just about two months its hard but youll find something. Write down every truck you see and call them. Also go to the sites that list trucking jobs and go down the list and call them too. Got a pre hire from swift a week after graduating but have been waiting for an orientation date. there super full in the wisconsin office

Better yet go to any truckstop and pick up the magazines outside of the fuel pumps or the little wallet cards you will find on the way to the restrooms.
