    Have no idea

the TX permit is $368 - so 500 miles for $1000 before fuel expense

figure 150 gallons of fuel because at 160-170k gross you are only getting maybe 3-4 mpg roughly $3/gal - so $450 fuel

So now you have $550 at best for a day and half of work -

guess that could pay for a hundred thousand dollar trailer plus truck ....

so there it is, come get into heavy haul and make the big money

A legal load couldn’t be pulled out there for that. That’s 500 miles into a dead zone, so you’d have 1000 miles involved, 2 full days even doing a turn and burn style drop and hook. 2 days on a $1400 gross load...no way Jose.

They may as well rename the I-35 corridor from DFW to Wichita as the “Acord Transportation and Farmers Oil Raceway,”

I paid $2.11 for fuel in TX last week. So that's only $300 for fuel. And I bet that could be pulled on a 3 axle step, no need for a $100k trailer or a 4 axle truck.

Geez you old guys just think you know everything huh?

I cut it with a 6" cut off wheel on a 4 1/2" angle grinder. There was about half a gallon of diesel in it he couldn't get drained out.
I hit the edge of the barrel with a new flap disk and tacked it back together in 8 spots. Then I hit the weld joint with a stainless steel wire brush and acetone before welding.
On a side note, if you want to know how out-of-round something that is supposed to be round really is, cut it apart then try to put it back together.
