There's Bible Hub push on my phone, and .. you.
Thanks, man. tbh!PE_T Thanks this. -
In this day and age where all it takes is one little thing to piss someone off and they go postal....
Lonesome Thanks this. -
If you don’t stand up for yourself, they’ll run over you.
-
True but at the same time you have to be smart about it. Most people will fly off a handle over a issue that would be considered trivial at best.magoo68 Thanks this.

I have no issue with talking about WHY something went wrong, and HOW to avoid, or mitigate it in the future. But do it with the offender, not publicize it to the whole fleet.
Now, if there is an ongoing problem fleet wide, like curbing tires, or late deliveries, then yes, address it with the group. -
Within the mega fleet world a name on the wall is meaningless. If they show a mugshot of the driver, then that's different.
Most smaller fleets.. all the drivers know what happened before the day is over.gentleroger and x1Heavy Thank this. -
One time one of FFE's multimillion mile hall of famer had his pete nose chopped all the way to the firewall in Arizona at some lonely little rail crossing in the scrub.
What did we see later that week? A Dallas Morning newspaper front page in technicolor.
I know that FFE is a big grown up and have to take their chops like everyone else but the talk in there was priceless. I don't remember all of it. -
With over 2,000 trucks a name on a list doesn't equate with humilation in my opinion.
My guess is this is just the latest effort to address on going problems that are causing serious issues. If this helps drivers understand that bad tarp jobs are costing $x thousand dollars a week, then maybe when Driver A sees Driver B has a bad tarp job, Driver A will walk over and say "can I show you a better way?" or words to that effect instead of shrugging his shoulders and walking away.Lonesome, autopaint, magoo68 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I talked to a TMC company driver who loaded next to me today.
He said too many drivers have been getting stupid violations that are affecting the company's score like lane violations, running scales that are open when not given the bypass and then being chased down by DOT, speeding, and load securement...
Also several drivers have gotten claims against them for either not tarping the load or pulling the tarps prior to delivering and the product gets wet and the customer rejects the load costing TMC $1000's in claims.
The safety department at TMC send out a fleet message asking for ideas on what could be done for guys to do their jobs the right way besides the usual punishment or company policies...
Several drivers suggested this "Shame Message" deal, so they sent out another message like a poll asking what everyone thought about the shame message deal and the overwhelming response from all the drivers was "YES" do the shame messages...
So there you have it... They are an employee owned company....
And he said the shame messages do not include DOT violations for maintenance related stuff like lights not working, bald tires, etc etc etc...
