I love California but.........

good for you! now if we all got together and decided to boycott CA...imagine the uproar!!!

 

I dont look at as a boycott .
Just me drawing a line and saying no thanks theres other things I can do for less hassle.

 

I was born and raised in CA, and I did like it as a kid.

Now, however, I think its only redeeming quality is the scenery.

 

By scenery u mean the mountain of trash everywhere u look? That place is disgusting as heck .

 

No, I mean anywhere in CA that is away from major metro areas.

 

I’m 3 years out of California and I won’t be going back. I run Cali sometimes but I make sure it’s not during rush hour, it’s just not worth it.

 

Same here! I would be gone if my mom was in better health!

 

It's not just California. I have read some almost nightmarish stories about how New York does this too.

Since this is thread is close to that edge of becoming "political" I will stop there.

 

From April of 1976 till December of 1980 I was in the Air Force stationed in California. In fact very close to where one of our members has listed on their profile as home. Lots of friends made then that are still friends today. I would not trade my memories there for anything. I'm an east coast guy now.

 

Establish a residence and business in Nevada. Use a UPS store or rent a room on the cheap for an address.
Change your CDL to Nevada. Keep your California residence as your vacation home.
Let California spend the money on how many days you spend at each.
Consult with your Attorney or CPA as to the viability of this plan.
