Hmmm this is kind of interesting. I'm empty at the Atlanta yard. Was told to drop my empty in Chatsworth and BT to Indiana for a new trailer. But I'm not going to Great Dane in Terre Haute. I'm going to Wabash in Lafayette.

Hmmm. That is interesting.
-
And since I'm sitting here in the Heartland yard, I took a look around and of course their trailers are Wabash. I'll keep you guys posted about any noticeable differences.
Things that I hope to be different: Duals, and air ride.JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this. -
The 19s we got last yr were supposed to be duals but the order got messed up or something like that.
-
So here we go.
Differences:
1. Spring-loaded swing out gladhands that seem kinda pointless and failure prone
2. DUALS
3. NO TAILS
4. Weird door locking mechanism that also locks doors in the open position. It'll take some getting used to.
5. Landing gear is backwards from most of what I've encountered. Clockwise cranks up, Pushed in for high gear.
Still spring ride, though.JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this. -

Other noteworthy differences:. No dock bumpers, and no jackknife reflectors.
-
Well from reading the accident reports the reflectors aren't helping anyway so why bother I guess lol
-
Also since my MT out of Dial is a new one and ive had a chance to look at it. No Meritor, and no auto lubrication.
