    Not really for a bearing, it’s a crusher ball. They use a huge drum similar to a cement mixer, these balls are inside of it, and as it slowly turns these balls roll down and crush the coal into smaller pieces.....


    There is a plant up at Nitro that used the same process, but the balls were about the size of a $.50 piece with 2 teeth on it. They turned inside a drum too but was used to turn paper into powder. Was called International Filler of WV back then years ago......

    I looked you up on google maps and can't believe the amount of pivots over there. I never knew Alberta had so many.

    Looks like you get water from reservoirs and travel through a network of pipes to feed the pivots?

    Windshield day....not my favorite thing to do.

    Took out a perfectly good windshield to fix the low air light from coming on. Wonder if that's in the part changers troubleshooting book.
