I assuming y'all is calling that big blue screw pin shackle a clevis? Why do I know it by a different name.?
We called em shackle's in the marine construction/ commercial diving world. Is it a more of a farm term to call it a clevis..?

That's what sucks about living in the prairies. Ground water is pretty ####. I grew up in BC and I miss that crystal clear well water. Drink it right outta the tap!

The upside is there not too spendy for a new one. I think there around $80 - $100 . It sucks there was nothing wrong with the old one though.PoleCrusher, 1951 ford, cke and 6 others Thank this.

I can see it..
I always thought a clevis used a non screw type pin, with either a nut on one side, or cotter pin..
I see now by the design & shape I'm making something out of nothing. Basically the same thing..
