Out of the house from my Super Bowl party. Finally deliver the load 2 Heartland, South Carolina After they put the wrong Freight on my truck. And I had to turn around and drive an extra 200 miles back to Wisconsin. . Got a load from Hendersonville to Minneapolis. Right around 1100 miles on this one.

misterG and Vic Firth Thank this.

Lakeville, Minnesota to Richland, Washington with an Uponor load. 1580 miles. Picked up a day late so not gonna be there Monday morning. Probably hit some nasty weather also. They said no problem get it there as soon as you can.

RoadCall, Vic Firth and misterG Thank this.

This should of been a decent paycheck, but one of the 1100 mile trips wasn't paid, it was overlooked according to payroll, so it was another low money paycheck. I have yet to hit that 1K bring home pay promised by recruiting.

Yeah That's not realistic on a continuous basis.
I usually average Take home Somewhere between $800 and $1,200.
The fact that they do not pay for partial trips. Will often result in a lower check.

    Vic Firth Thanks this.

Then they should not tell you 1K a week bring home pay.

No worries, we went our separate ways.

I ended up with 2 days breakdown pay because the dealer didn't get my truck ready until after 3 in the afternoon. I got a load from St Cloud Minnesota down to McGregor Texas. Picked up another load coming up to Saint Paul. Got a 330 mile load over to Wisconsin on a short run. Drop down to Racine Wisconsin picked up my home load going to Jacksonville South Carolina. I will end up with about 3100 miles for the week. Had 2900 last week with $300 breakdown pay.

It’s not worth living in a truck for $800 take home. I made that working local, home every night and weekends off. Just my .02

Sound like your last two weeks were pretty good!

Vic Firth and Lonesome Thank this.
