    Can someone give me a possible reason why my CLP has a K restriction on it? I’m 21

    Because according to my licensing manual, a k restriction for South Carolina on a permit means you didn't take the air brake test.

    Like Ridgeline said, a K restriction means you don't have an air brake endorsement.

    Were you 21 when you got your permit? If not it would have a K.
    Either way you need to go in and have them update it.
