Carrying While Trucking

I've been thinking about the challenge of going into unfriendly states. If you don't want to risk getting caught one of the possibilities is to rent a safety deposit box in a bordering friendly state and pick it up on the way out. Any other locker rental would work, but I'm not familiar with the availability.

 

Law enforcement is there to primarily y serve and protect. But they are not everywhere all the time. There is not a single law that will prevent you from getting killed

 

I was in a rest area north of ft worth a couple of years ago when someone pulled on my locked door handle around midnight. Dont know if they were just looking to sneak in and steal something or maybe more. Was glad I had my little friend with me..looked around but never saw anyone so guess they were hiding. Needless to say didnt sleep much the rest of that night.

 

I don't risk it.

Maryland surveys all vehicles in near real time on interstates. My arkansas tags attracted some attention last time I crossed. A little of that Baltimore accent rather than down home took care of that right quick. Gun? Not that time. But a Kabar. Which probably is illegal up there anyway. We are a constitutional free state with blades as a alternative.

 

I carry a gun because cops are too heavy.

I carry a gun when seconds count and cops are minutes away.

I carry a gun when cops may need some help.

 

I carry a whistle for protection.

 

Not even close.

 

I used to open carry a buck special. Had a holster next to chaindrive wallet.

Walked into Kennedy airport cargo etc many times with the #### thing long ago to slice pallets. Not people.

Today I would be so piled under many police in any airport anywhere doing that.

 

People are missing the point. I’m saying that’s what is supposed to happen. But in the end it’s every person for themselves. I worded the whole thing wrong.

My point is people need to do what they feel they need to do

 

No shower shoes...I’m not that brave.
