I’ve seen some ads with new trucks and they seem to be coming down in price as well.

Yes! But here is what I hate about shippers.

    1. They think they own you, well if you don't want to run to Manhattan NY then we'll have to find someone that will. And don't email you anymore.

    2. They drag there feet paying. I'm talking about some that take 75 days to catch up on delivered loads.

    3. Shippers want you to beat the brokers rate, and the brokers rate and I guess you could say is fair(not really) at $2.50 a mile.

    4. Shippers want you to work for them as if your an employee. "How many loads can you move a day?" I'm not trying to have a competition with 44 cents per mile Mega company's

I know for a fact the mega's aren't cutting rates. Swift pulls out of the same place we do and gets 1150 on 347mi. We get whatever they can't cover

I don't know any more... Whether these are brokers or direct shippers... no matter how you slice it, the arse always stays behind.

I've been mentioning this to my friends in the business for awhile. We O/O all need to come to an agreement and make a big protest. America will fall to it's knees without o/o. those big companies out there are #### in service, and most of them have inexperienced drivers.

Hey guys TQL has a Dallas to Miami load for you. $1,200 for 1376 miles is what the broker "wants to be at". 15 day average was like $2,300. Let it sit!!!!

When you have carriers making money selling trucks, training drivers, the rates on the load doesn't seem to matter.
