Auto squelch on President McKinley

    Seems on my new radio the auto squelch feature only works on CB not on side band is that normal

    No, it's not normal. Somebody probably fooled with the adjustment when the radio was tuned up.
    I have a President McKinley II. The best CB radio I've ever owned.
    If yours isn't, you need to return it to whoever tuned it and make him fix it.....if he can.

    Wow thanks. Actually had this sent back once before they replaced it. Uugghhh guess I got to send it back or just live with it. I thought it was working. It seemed to stop working when I was setting up channel memory programs. Wonder if it's something I did.
