Echo board - Ranger EB-2015 here is the directions or all it comes with- https://www.bobscb.com/PDGManuals/rci-eb-2015-wiring-diagram.pdf

thats great but it doesnt tell me anything to do on the CB end, where does it hook up?
there are 4 wires on the board that need to be connected to the CB, the "J5 mic out" "mic" and "g" and the "J6 mic in", "mic" and "g"

Im guessing the audio and ground wire on the mic jack is where its tapped in, so my question is....
Does it go from the board "OUT" to the MIC jack, or does it go from the MIC jack "IN" to the board?

    thanks

I hooked up as the obvious.. input from the mic into the board... powered up with 8 volts... talk back doesnt work anymore and it does nothing. Swapped input/outputs and nothing as well. Connected the audio wires back to stock config and works great. Board must be a POS? im returning it.

Pull the middle wire off of the mic gain. Should be yellow. Connect.the center conductor of the mic in cable to the middle tab on the mic gain.
Connect the shield from both mic in and mic out together and solder them to the tab that has the black wire on the mic gain. This is your ground. Connect the remaining center conductor to the yellow wire.
I'm doing this from memory, so it may be backwards. You might have to switch them
