The start of 2020 seems to be pretty bad for me on the Convoy load board here in California. Any lanes paying well so far this year?

Lanes are down some, I run out of socal and even though the rates are down, I was still able to put together just under $10k in 12 days finishing up this coming Saturday morning back in LB. That’s with a 34 in there under a load as well. Just have to run harder.

I like to run up to Salt Lake, then go from there. Can usually get $1400+, key is to get the one day load and not the two day loads going up there if possible. It’s still pretty easy to average $800 day with a van even with the rates where they are.

Cass Index is down 12% as of last week. And Baltic Dry cannot hire a freighter on the water at a profit. Its way off considering that China might drop dead and take her production out of this world's economy. Particularly ours.

We run direct freight very very little broker freight and it's been bad since July of 19'. Really bad since the first. I barely ran December and January. For context we run building material, mostly open deck. I need to hire a couple drivers for a couple trucks I've got laying around and I've decided to hold off.

Yea, might be a lot fewer people altogether before it's over.

It's really slow for me with my dry van. Most of my regular runs are way off, I even stooped so low as to come out to California... twice!

Worst I’ve saw in 5 yrs or so I’d say. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying their own truck right now.
