    last nite j was dropping trailer on an end spot across from bobtail parking(next to freeway) and saw a blue midroof with 2 people I side bobtailling to the rear of terminal

    Wouldn't of been us. I was parked right across from where new drivers take thier backing test. Had my skateboard.

    winds are horrible here in jurupa terminal.
    they are not letting anyone leave with an mt trailer.
    I have a load to pick up in fontana and I can bobtail tvere.
    gonna sit a bit to see if it does down.
    blowing 35 to 40

    The salads and Tuna fish sams are good out of the new machines. The food truck is above average and cheap during the day if you are where I think you are ;)

    But 35-40 might be sustained. Gusts could be much higher.

    We are on the way, got out liftgates in Otay about 8AM the truck crossed with them, we are rolling down I8 now first stop in PA, Final near Boston MA.

    6 stops in total.

    But it's the gusts that really matter.
    So when someone mentions the wind speeds I kinda assume they are saying the highest wind speeds, as in the gusts.

    Unless the report says gusts, i assume sustained winds. Seems it depends on who is reporting the weather. And if i hear sustained or straightline wind, then i assume there are probably higher gusts.


    Idk, it all requires a bit of special attention. But i usually pull out the "My Radar" app just to check wtaf is going on.

    A couple of days ago gusts of 209 mph were recorded up on CA88.
