LOL i do enjoy the excersize and i dont mind tarping but i only have 8ft drop tarps which are the big lumber tarps , and they are kicking my butt at 130 pounds each, cant barely lift them on the deck . Need to get by a tarp stop and get me some smaller 4ft drops so it will make life easier.x1Heavy, 77fib77, WesternPlains and 3 others Thank this.

For 10 or more years, never had anything other than full lumber tarps. Tarped everything with them. Always said I was going to get some smaller tarps, never did.
You get used to using the big tarps. Most of the time, I can tarp as quick as someone with short tarps.
Fortunately, now It is extremely rare to tarp.InTooDeep, 77fib77, Dave_in_AZ and 3 others Thank this. -
Dang, yeah i am just not used to them yet. They are thicker material than the ones i am used to using at my last company and even then i didnt throw the lumber tarps to often. I just need some more time with them , . The only problem i could see myself running into is if i get a real short height load, i wont have any d rings to hook onto. This last load i had was about 3ft tall or so and my rings were down to the rub rail , not sure how to tie it down if i dont have that extra row of d ring, maybe just have to throw straps over top or something like thatx1Heavy, InTooDeep, Dave_in_AZ and 2 others Thank this.

It’s not really anything to do with exercise. It’s bragging rights. Where, what and how are more important.InTooDeep, Dave_in_AZ, WesternPlains and 2 others Thank this.

l used 5' drop tarps that had 3' extenders that snapped on every 2' along the length when needed for 8' drop. l prefer to haul green lumber.Dave_in_AZ, WesternPlains, LtlAnonymous and 1 other person Thank this.

I have always used rope to secure the tarps. Had loops instead of “D” rings. D rings can wear out rope over time. Also had them put rows 2 ft all the way to the top seam on the sides and flaps.

Over the years I have used Tri city canvas, for a lot of equipment. Not always the lowest prices on some things, mostly very reasonable. The do a lot of custom work. If you want some extra rows put on your tarps, they can do it. Have had them make customs straps, always save the hooks from trashed straps, then have them sew them on new webbings.

It aint no thing, but thanks.
@D.Tibbitt I gave one of my companies drivers your name to use as a reference if he calls DSV. Very stand up guy, been driving probably 30+ yrs I believe. The last 5 with my co, for the 2nd time. He's tired of dealing with some of the stuff we've been having issues with, and Im right there with him.LtlAnonymous, D.Tibbitt and WesternPlains Thank this.
