All of us experienced drivers by now know the deal , all companies lie . But Forward Air is a great poker faced liar . From all the way up in the management offices right down to the dispatchers .
This company bought 2 other companies . One a refer outfit . REFER ... why , I don’t know . Instead of investing $$$ money in better trailers , nope they did this .
They have overhired themselves into a corner, and with a weak economy, we teams sit , and listen to the symphony of lies coming out of the pipe.
This is a company that has slim to none driver facilities. They have porta-potties for us , no showers , no place to get out of the truck and unwind .
They actually claim you can make $450k a year here , just work 360 days and take 5 off . Who gets that ? Well they say the dedicated house boat drivers . And the big mini carriers that are employed here . Not us 1 truck mopes .
I spend time reading ads , and reviews here and in 20 years all I can say is that trucking is in a sad state . They give a team $150 for 24hrs of sitting and listening to the circus folks lie to you. That’s $75 per person , divided by 24 hrs is $3.13 per hour . Unreal . The Government hires clowns to regulate this industry , and we all just accept what’s put on our plates .
I know there will never be a perfect company , but FORWARD AIR is in a race to commit suicide by stupidity.

Some days it will take more than that measly 150 to refit a two person team for the new week pending.

Don't know where the #### you are living but this economy is red hot. Stock market setting records day after day, real estate going up. Unemployment at record lows....

And we sit , and they claim freight is low . I know all about the statistics on the economy . This clown outfit claims differently. I have to stay out more than I want to to even get ahead .

Red Hot Economy ? , wages stagnate workers earn considerly less than there parents.
The average paper mill worker here has been viserated chocking on there 14$ a hr machine operator pay that payed 25$ 10 years ago.
Freight Rates at a all time low , carriers shutting down left and right , I don't buy the smoke screen , just my 2 cents.

Must be a reason that Trump doesn’t even mention the trucking industry, and trying to correct the abortions from the past administrations ...
In my 20 years the deterioration of this industry is sickening.

Yeah right I lost 22k in pay from last year. Probably has something to do with the fact that tariffs screw up more than they claim.

I looked into Forward Air. Like to idea of terminal to terminal drop and hook and if a load isn’t ready bobtail to somewhere to do something, shop, eat, etc. Guess if the loads aren’t there then it makes it tough at $1.30-1.50/mile
