    Ok, finally an update that I can post lol. The dealership that I bought it at had it towed from the one in Louisiana and they are going to put a used 485hp motor instead of the 455hp with 389k on the miles. They are going to take what warranty pays and eat the rest and may be swapping me out of the truck with a non paccar motor.

    Sounds good, at least they’re working with you. They should. Many won’t do anything if there’s no $$$ in it for them. Good to see a Dealer that still cares about their Reputation. Good Luck. My engine blew since yours did, I know the anxious feeling!!!

    @Rideandrepair I hate to hear that. They are also making our december payment for us and the finance company is going to move January's to the end of the loan so hopefully everything works out. I hope yours gets taken care of also.

    Ok everyone. Finally got the call today that the truck is complete. I will be picking it up Saturday. They completely fixed everything, ran the overhead, fixed all the a/c, dropped the pan and checked the rods and mains as well.

    Should have some type of warranty, might as well run it a while, my Truck is a 2000 Freightliner w/ 12.7

    No warranty. The motor is a used one with 398k on it. Cant wait to see what kind of power it has running correctly and 485 instead of 455
