i have been out of a job for 8 months and i have a good record on my dac report . all i have been hearing is that the training that i received when i went to trucking school is not considered verifiable otr experience. what am i supposed to do with 6 months experience and 2 months are not qualifying experience because they are with a trainer and a lease trainer?

Why are you out of a job with only 6 months experience?

Were you one of the tens of thousands caught in the Swift Trucking School debacle?

I have 20 yrs exp but dac isn't all tha that great, have been told by several companies that 6 months unemployment is the limit to be considered for hire, also you need 1 yr otr for a big otr company and 1 yr varifiable for local If they give you a break you may have to out with a trainer for a short while.Trucking companies will treat you like#### .Get training in another field and have a better life

    Dear GA Princess,
Obama is a socialist and along with immoral liberals will ruin the country that my Dad and other War Veterans gave their lives for.Government as no business in our heath care, you can't buy the country out of recession and high taxes will shut down small business and large ones to move over seas.He wants to be a dictator and the only people that voted for him are ignorant and want government handouts. So you sit down shut up and deal with it!

I've known people with this problem and you best bet is probably to find a company that hires school graduates and go that route that way if you can get hired, you may have to do some training again but probably not all of it. I know at Roehl Transport when I started It was divided into two levels at a week of training a peice first week was for school grads and second was for slightly experienced drivers; as a new driver you took both but as SED you only had to take the second week. hopefully this helps.........

No wonder your age is 21. You sound like today's 21 year olds. My hat is off to people who gave their lives for this country. I have an idea why don't you go serve in combat and maybe you will have respect for fallen soldiers.
