Taking the no toll way to Philly from Binghamton. 81-380-80-pa33-78-nj31-295

To run the northeast extension it's $65 one way outrageous.

    You pulling a 102”?

NJ claims to be anal about 102’s using non-STAA roads to cut through, and 31 is a popular one.

Never been bothered when i was with willow run pulling 102. It'll be night time. I'll have to bite the bullet and spend 65 to run pike home with a whopping 10k in the box

Guys, this is interesting snap shot of trucking in the 50'. Grandpa, was running a LJ Mack with a 300 Cummins, Step Grandpa in similar Super Servive White as the film. Later to remove the white 250 flat head gasser to put a 180 cummins in it, then turbo charged and hot set up for a 250 Cummins and a Mack duplex trans. Paul Krupp was the first guy to make the dual feed fuel line for a Cummins. Cummins and anyone else got the dual line set up from him.

Anyhow great old film. Drivers had respect and respected themselves.

Can’t speak from personal experience on the Gerdau part but I’ve hauled some rebar. Straight rebar is easy, for 20’s it’ll probably be 3 stacks, 2 on the deck and the other on top center. I and everyone else I’ve seen use straps personally 8 of em is what I used.

Up until 2001 the 9900's were well built trucks. Got cheap after that like everyone else.
