    I wish it would stay clean, the yard I pull my loads out of is a pothole infested mud pit right now, it's gross.

    With the older style trailers like what is in the picture I am generally 26,500 to 26,850 empty weight with a full fuel and DEF tank.

    We have some new 3 hopper Heils around that run a little lighter, with those I'm usually 25,400 to 25,600.

    My first oilfield ride, also one of my favorites.

    We have 2 three hopper Heils and they’re pretty light. But for some reason the guy I run for isn’t a fan of them. He likes the Mac’s. I did put the bug in his ear about talking to Mac in Billings MT and seeing how light one of those would be with the open ends.

    When the windchill is around -30 and you’re not looking forward to unloading but then you get lucky and park just right and now the night isn’t so bad.

    @Long FLD

    Sorry, I'm an idiot. I finally caught a load this afternoon with one of the lighter 3 hopper trailers I mentioned in an earlier post, they aren't Heil like I thought and said, they are Mac.

    I’m the only one where I work that likes how those look.

    I think they look good, but when push comes to shove, as long as they unload well I don't care what they look like.

    I will say, other then sitting on stupid singles they pull down the road really well. They are about 5 feet longer then the older 4 hopper Heils and have air suspension versus spring.

    The thing I don't like about them is the angle of the hoppers (it's to great) when I have to unload dextrose, it doesn't like to slide down the sides as fast as the center of the hopper will empty out and Ihave to beat on the trailer more then I care to, I'm lazy like that.

    One of our regular places. Pipe is flat along the ground for the first 20ft, then 130ft up the side of the building into a hard 90, and then another 50ft flat inside to their tank. It takes about 2-2.5 hours to unload salt here.
