Mass state troopers in action......

Cops: never one when you need one. Other than that, if I don't see them? It's a good day.

Thing I don't get, how are they gaming a quota system while at the same time working no show shifts? Do they try to write up 24 tickets in the first 4 hours then go hide the rest of the day and claim 12 hours?

 

Technically speaking they don’t have a quota system (they’re not supposed to anyway). And the majority of their work was along the Mass Pike so chances are they were doing other stuff within their duties,who knows?

 

I've always said, if I was a cop I could write more tickets in a grocery store parking lot in an hour than I could in a shift on the highway. I'm sure there's a direct correlation between bad habits in a parking lot and on the rod.

 

Like I said before, I almost became a state trooper since I passed the state exam. If they had hired me, the tickets I would be writing would probably single-handedly solve the state budget deficit!ROTFLMAO

 

They’re state troopers. If they go on overtime for four hours and then come back with no tickets written then one has to wonder what the heck were they doing all that time? If I was a supervisor I would absolutely demand some kind of production.

 

You mean they haven't investigated themselves yet and found no wrongdoing? huh

 

Usually, state workers/troopers get more overtime in the final years of their service to get higher pensions. Sometimes union wigs know if/when the state wants to do buyouts. So they let senior workers get more overtime, screwing the taxpayers. This is why I left NJ with no regrets.
