####, that's a long ways up on its own, not to mention the 2 horizontals and a 90. What pressure are you unloading at, I've never dealt with salt.

Note to self: Do not bleed moisture from your air tanks while unloading...

Another lesson learned the hard way (seems to be the only way I can). When air pressure in tractor drops to 100 the PTO disengages...never knew that.

I really gotta learn this #### better.

I just get it to 10-11 psi and let it sit there. The flats are the worst for salt because it’s heavy and wants to lay on the bottom of the pipe. We have some guys who will be on the verge of plugging up the whole time they unload but I’d rather just take it easy.

Do you guys use air regulators or do the trailers have them installed already?

There’s a 15psi pop off valve on the trailer.

There is one on the trailer and most of the time another on the discharge of the blower.

    RockinChair and Rugerfan Thank this.

I haul corrosives and we just use portable ones. Granted we air off at 25-29 psi, but we don’t have a pop off valve.

This is true, but don't ever count on them to work correctly. Between the heat and the powder they either open too early or worse, they don't open at all.

    Rugerfan Thanks this.

It looks like the one next to the Flying J in San Antonio.
