What does all in house mean? To me it looks like your paying the tax man instead of taxing all the deductions. Even once your truck is paid for. Start a LLC that manages the truck and grab more deducted moneys. I have a camper that is my world headquarters. When the family comes there I just pay the daily fee. I got the Jayco 30 for almost free.

It means house payment interest, car tags, medical expenses, parking, truck washes........etc.
I have an LLC. Every year we have a "Team Building" event.....me and my VP. This year it will be in Las Vegas. Last year it was in Annapolis
It's all good, Dave. Good to see you again.

I see, I think ;-) Your truck payment and maintenance is $1200 a month combined? Or, your truck payment is $1,200 a month and maintenance costs are on top of that?

Start deducting those line items, with other normal operating expenses, from your "Net" and that $118,000 changes drastically.

In addition, I'd be interested in knowing what your all miles were for 2019, if you wouldn't mind sharing?

    Exactly

I’ve always said. It’s not what you make. It’s what you keep

ok, look, I'm kind of a dummy and I don't pay real close attention to much.
Mostly what't important to me is that I have a wife who loves me and a nice little house.
    But the thumbnail is this......
I've had a very happy 2019. I've pretty much gone where I wanted to go, and stopped when I didn't want to go any more.
Paid all my bills.....only have $600 left on 1 credit card and that was for tires, and saved $36,000. And that's kinda how I've been running it for the last 5 years or so. Save up around $36.000- $40,000, at tax time put $10,000 in a SEP, pay around $15,000 in taxes and then buy about $10,000 worth of Coke and hookers and start all over, (or replacement windows and trim......there's always something).
Everybody has their own way. In my opinion, it's one of those "whatever works for you" kind of things.
I'm very happy. My wife is very happy and we have a nice life together. So, as far as I'm concerned, I'm winning.

I'm not critizing you. Was only seeking clarification on those numbers. Which you provided. Thanks.

sure, Scooter. Didn't take it as criticism at all. But then again, I'm not exactly the sharpest tool in the box.
