All I'm saying it's not healthy to use it all the time. You should read on topics of the nuke oven, the nutrition values. I was reading today that drinking soda pop is worse then having a beer. And diet soda is the worse of the two. I have changed my eating habits considerably since I found out I found out I was diabetic. I read alot on nutrition, good and bad.

There is no scientific evidence to anything you claim about nutrition relating to microwave ovens.

Wise words. I bought one of the RoadPro soft sided coolers just to get me by with a few water bottles and pops in it until I get my permanent truck. Waste of $40, really. I may tear it apart later and see if it can be repurposed to work with an Igloo lunchbox style cooler.

McGirl, The thing that isn't mentioned is that the microwave and the fridge don't indicate the start up wattage, it is much higher than what it says on the box. So expect to size your inverter based on the wattage multiplied by 1.5 or 1.6, depending on the make and where it is made. It is hard to figure that out sometimes but it is very important.

AND also get a good inverter, not a cheap dirty one. Spend the money on the right equipment because your stuff will work better and last longer.

You are correct about that. I also noticed that (according to my inverter's gauge) my microwave actually operates at around 950 watts and not the 700 it is advertised at.
