That has actually happened, there are plenty of police videos where it has shown police asking for help from truckers on the CB, if they could try and block them

 

we live in a represenative republic. not a democracy. and the marshalls do have authority over interstate commerce.

 

They do not enforce fmcsa regulations. They have limited authority.

 

No, actually they don't. Thay are cops for the court system. Court security, fugitives, prisoner transportation. That sort of things.

If the US Marshal can be bothered to come out and then laugh hysterically at the situation presented to him, then thats one cool cat as far as I am concerned.

Ive been soaked in so many US Marshal stories by so many spittle spewing blowhards who are purple in high anger at the counter... I pretty much made sure that I stay out of those stories. There isnt a shred of truth to any of that.

If the Federal Agent wants to interdict a State Agent and both are sworn officers, then there is going to be a storm in a teacup fairly soon. Thats why we have "Sherifs" to show up and impose order. he he he.
