I've received a speeding ticket on the Grapevine, too, but for the other direction. 64 in a 55. Fought it via TVC. Kern county busted it down to a log violation. $450 fine.

Good luck....
And remember justice may be blind but she’s not cheap....
My last ticket cost me $1500 but the cop agreed to toss the ticket.bentstrider83, blacklabel and RockinChair Thank this. -
Could have been worst.
Deere hunter, Swine hauler and Dennixx Thank this. -
I just found your post. Sorry for being late to the party. You will definitely need a good attorney! You also need to pay more attention to detail. A mile before the 35 MPH sign, there is a sign that says truck speed limit is 45 MPH. I know, I drive over the Grapevine 5 days a week. Good luck to you. -
I laugh every time I read the thread title. Not "I screwed up and got caught speeding," oh no.
Deere hunter, magoo68, Socal Xpress and 2 others Thank this. -

That's like on us-6 in pa by P&G bunch of 25-35mph truck speeds in a 55. I always see trucks hauling ### down the hills. A ticket like that, most places will crucify you for that.
Can't do anything about it now. Someone will still hire you tho if you look hard enough. Look at smaller companies and just be honest with em -
Now that you have realized your mistake and I hope you learned from it. The next step is to get a lawyer. That is your only hope in this case.
Brettj3876 Thanks this. -
You messed up. You owned it. Good for you. People giving her a hard time read her post and not just the title. It is a bad title though . I consider myself a decent driver and have never gotten a moving violation in a rig (knock on wood) but there has been times I would have if Johnnie Law was watching at the right moment. I am glad to see there are so many infallible drivers on the forum.
Lawyer up and be careful on them hills, your kids need ya.bentstrider83, Deere hunter and kemosabi49 Thank this.
