which companies are training students out of illinois

    My husband has a cdl but needs a refreasher course we called cr england and was told that he would need to transfer his license from illinois to indiana inorder to be hired , they also said that illinois will not allow you to transfer your license right now , that did not make any sense to me. so we are looking for companies that are still traning students.any info would be greatly apprecaited.

    Give USA Truck a call, they are based out of Van Buren, AR. and hire out of illinois. USA Truck does have a training program, your husband may be stuck with a trainer 3 to 6 weeks or less depending on how good he can handle driving a 70 foot vehicle.

    Roehl Transport is a good place to start. They have a terminal right in Gary he can Work out of there. Good People from WI. I worked there for 3years
