I am scheduled to go to Central in October. My gut feeling is that it was CR England but who knows, there a ton of companies out there in SLC. Only problem is he won't tell us which company it was.

 

He coulda been a janitor in a police station and still be making an accurate statement.

You shoulda stayed onboard and force their hand - and as was stated earlier, it should have been illegal for them to open a sealed filed without a court order.

 

I have never been to a truck driving "quote" school... I grandfathered in... I started in 1984 they did not have truck driving schools back then...However I have been a trucker for 25yrs...I also have my own authority...So let me say this "if it walks like a duck , and talks like a duck it's probably a duck"...

 

You better make sure you do that because if it's on your DAC you won't drive for anyone.

 

My first licsense was a chauffers licsense, in 1971. I let it lapse and went to a Tech school to get my CDL 3 years ago. THAT school started in 1973.
As for company sponsored schools, when are all the nieve folks out there going to realise they are out for the money and don't really give a crap if you pass or not. And, if they just don't like you, or don't "have an available truck or trainer", they will put you on hold in hopes that you quit. Then, you pay the bill anyway.
This ploy is worth millions every year to large carriers.

So all you younguns out there, do yourself a favor please? Read these forums and learn from the hundreds of mistakes others have made before you.

 

Oh man, I know people who have fallen for that tactic. You have the law on your side, keeping the problems in your youth from haunting you as an adult.
Should've kept it to yourself, and called his bluff.

 

Anytime some one tells you they have inside info and can find something out, they are digging. The way people like to impress people they would find out and then tell you just to prove they got power......
