Routing problem.

I'm also going to escalate this up to our development team to find out more information. We are always working to improve routing and improving the user experience. We really appreciate all the details. It helps us build a better app.

 

I can say I have also experienced a simialar issue. The first rest area on I-80 Westbound, west of Lincoln, NE is a large truck only rest area... It is entirely paved but the app thinks it is dirt and will not give a route out of that rest area if avoid dirt roads is on.

I would also suggest that the app give a route over dirt roads even with avoid dirt roads on IF there is no other alternative... And give the user a warning such as "Route will take you on dirt road for approximately (1000 feet or 2 miles or whatever the distance of dirt road travel is necessary)"

 

Hi @Cattleman84 , thanks so much for bringing this up. All feedback/suggestions are totally welcome. We use them to help improve our app, so we thank you I will go ahead and get this submitted as well to our developers.

 

Maybe the best way to handle it is ignore dirt road settings for the first 1/4 mile and last 1/4 mile or something like that. Seems that's where most of the issues are coming from.

I'd like to create a ticket and escalate it to our development team. Can you please send us a private message with your make/model of your device please? Also, the starting point and destination for your route? Any details you can send over to us would be extremely appreciated. We definitely want to take a look and see what happened.

 

They need to find a better source for maps.
Or more updated maps.

I can tell from the freeway construction. And I can tell from my house being built.
The maps are at least 3 years old.

Google is much more updated on the freeway.
And my neighborhood.

Please send us a private message with the location of the freeway that is outdated. I would like to submit this to our developers.
