The mid 70's FLC with twin round headlights makes me shiver andni cant believe they dont have a huge resto following. And i hate to say it but early 80s volvo WG vocational straight trucks.. Basically still autocars. Maybe its just longing to live in the world i grew up in, i dunno.

 

And in other news, id say loadboard freight is fully into the dregs now. TQL just offered me $1.60/mi for 8ft tarp load and allen cassety wabts to pay $1.07 for a load of brick. These are east coast busy lanes, not please get me out holes.

Have you seen anyone take a set back aero & try to pop a flc set back hood like this on there.?
Need to change out the quarter panel too, or whatever that little piece of fender is called just ahead of the fuel tank too I'd suppose..

I'm trying to resurrect my fld, keep it from turning into a complete pile. LoL

I hear that quite a bit. Guys saying the fld was a good truck. Last May just outside Omaha at a Flying J, 2 older hands walked up to where I was parked to ask me about mine, & peeked inside. They said that had put in many miles in these trucks & miss them now..
