Good trip. I sat around a number of days on the peninsula looking for some gravy heading south to no avail. Valleyview Alberta at the moment debating between bouncing all the way home. Loading cheap ars lumber home. Or loading pipe right back up to Fairbanks...
A few days back it hit 50 below overnight in Tok. I went to take off that morning and 4 out of the six trailer hubs wouldn't turn. The brakes wasn't froze it was the hub oil. Thank God I had my 20# propane tank and big torch with me!
Had to chain up the truck to get enough traction to drag the trailer around to lot.
After 20 minutes of heating hubs and making circles in the lot she was good to go. I'm assuming this trailer has that thick Lucas hub oil in it. Never again will I use that crap! IMG_20200214_170747071.jpg

LoL, I hear ya!! Far from what I'd call good looking, but they are coming of age now that the newest ones are what, '03 models..? And being a small bunk flattop adds a little bit of cool I think..

It's the only tractor I've ever owned, but the longer I'm in it, the more it has grown on me. Just pondering what I can do with it to set it apart from the other FLD's still running around out here.

I guess getting her polished up, & paint done at some point, & a good engine tune, may be enough as was stated earlier, as most are not kept up & are falling apart at the seams.. o_O

Well @singlescrewshaker I'm not smart enough to reply to your FLC post today for some reason but........... that is basically my truck right there, except I have a condo sleeper (48" ) . Never seen another one like it..........for a good reason.......it's ugly.
