Reserved parking strikes again

Regardless of the criminal side of this case, that guard will almost certainly face a civil case which could easily destroy his future.

People seem to forget about that inconvenient little detail, when they're all gung ho about 2A.

 

Was planning to stop at the Petro in Hammond,Louisiana tonight to get a salad at the Iron Skillet. All of the free parking spots were gone and the last two rows in the back of the lot is all reserved now. It wasn’t even 7:00 pm yet and all the free spots were filled!

So I went across to the Pilot,grabbed some Arby’s (2 for $6 Fish Sandwiches FTW) and drove to the holding yard that we use 2 blocks away from the Petro and parked there instead.
If they choose to try to hit me up for more money before I even get a chance to get into the truck stop,then I choose to take my hard earned money(and my business) elsewhere!

 

If I feel threatened or someone is breaking into my truck am I allowed to let my dog loose on them? Or am I still supposed to flee?

 

I thing with all the reserve spots in the large T/S the mom and pop places could see more business. I am at one now and I stayed at one yesterday. It just seems more practical and not very crowded. Actually quite peaceful.

 

What law are you referring to that got broken?

 

Trucker Path has parking predictability. It works really well. Yeah, it costs money, but it’s worth it.

 

I have the trial version of Trucker Path for about a month. And it was great. Made no difference where I was I could find a Walmart or t/s close. I always use the link for google maps but sometimes it put me in a unique situation. Is the map on Trucker Path useful?

 

If someone is breaking into your truck, then let the dog loose. On the other hand, because I’m a tree hugger, I would just give him my wallet. Jk. That man will be meeting my breaker bar and will be in for a big surprise. I don’t have time for games.
