I replaced the cluster in my 2005 9200i international. Because it had a similar issue. But the new cluster does the same thing. Also changed the ECU and the ABS computer. Is there something im missing ?

Yes, I am here. I check the site once or twice a day.

The gauges are regular hardwired to temp sensors for those components and do not tie in to the datalink. I don't get into edls too much. If it is just the edl that is not seeing speed properly, it is either not getting that info off the datalink, or the satellite isn't picking that up. The datalink your truck has is an older slower 1708 sae format. Some newer edls are not compatible with 1708 and only are for the current 1939 format. Some newer systems can be wired for 1708, but they need proper adaptors. Is your regular speedo working properly?

Yes speedometer works. On insight I had a code 0434 at one point. I was told to try an replace two power wires between key and ecu.not sure witch wires those would be yet. between key and ecu theres a power loss or under 6 volts between key and ecu while running? Witch possibly is causing the engine synchronization malfunction with the logging system.i do have the 1708 plug like u said.this eld system has worked properly for over 3 months until now.

434 is loss of battery power, not ignition. Since your speedo is working, I would think the problem is with your log device.
Traveler110 Thanks this.
