Some night, when the Greys come to get me for my "medical exam", I'll ask them if I can borrow their spacecraft.

I'll put a message up on the forum, as an invitation to whoever want to come harrass some hippie scum with me.

Imagine chasing a VW van down a logging road with a flying saucer. It would be like the scene in Fire In The Sky when Travis Walton gets grabbed. We would see their heads bouncing around in that van, roaches, crackers and bandanas flying out the window, then we just knock them off the road for fun.

 

We were forty miles of logging road from the nearest pavement. Sixty miles to the nearest phone. This was in the days before cell phones.
The way we handled things was just right for that time and place. I'd do it again and do it just the same way.
We were on tribal land, everyone directly involved was a tribal member, except for the protesters. I think they were from San Francisco.
We had a couple of guys who wanted to just shoot the hippies and be done with it. I know them and they were capable of that.
We settled on a less permanent way to discourage logging protests.

 

That explains how you didn't end in court with assault charges, even they knew they were wrong.

 

After careful thought That truck is coming through.

We had a train where a small group of protesters tried to stop physically in NH not too long ago, Engineer just rolled through. Even if he wanted to stop its a mile down the track before he did. So.. hes rolling through.

If people want to be that stupid? Its going to be a horrible day. I would hate it very much. But that truck is going through.

 

They won't get run over. They are too chicken ####. We had one of those crazies at Maple Leaf.

Yes, the best legal thing to do would be to call the local LEO's out to get an escort and/or remove the protestors from the entrance.

However, I do not blame the driver for not stopping in that mud and possibly getting stuck. He would be blocking a public road and that would be unprofessional.
