Define use. I look at it every once in a while and see with my own eyes that it's unreliable. In currently sitting in a lot that's only about 30% full and good ol truckers path has it listed as yellow so only a few open spots.
Reserved parking strikes again

You confirmed my suspicions that you don’t use the app every day. Trucker Path is indisputably the best trucker app for truck stops, parking status, and so on. A few years ago, that wasn’t the case. Right now Trucker Path is king. Sure, it needs improvement, but they’re growing all the time. If you’re an OTR driver, stopping at various truck stops, Trucker Path parking status and history is very, very helpful. It’s a shame, you haven’t figured out how useful it is. I hope it stays that way. I wouldn’t want you to know about it, anyway. Struggle the old fashion way.

Easy answer...Many can't look beyond the first row closest to the grub.
When I see yellow I know there's plenty of parking most of the time.
I don't care if the place is 70% empty I always go to the back of the lot.
It's not much but more walking is better imo and I'm out of the way of the 'I have to park as close to the store as I can chaos'.mjd4277, JonJon78, spyder7723 and 1 other person Thank this. -
It doesn't matter if folks like yourself cant put in accurate assessments of the parking availability. Putting in "lot is full" when you have 2 rows of empty reserved parking is extremely misleading and wrong.
I've gotten along just fine for years before truckerspath was even a thought, and will continue to do so.spyder7723 Thanks this. -
The old fashion way isn't a struggle at all. I know exactly where I will fuel or park along my route before leaving the shipper.
As for its usefulness, maybe for a fresh out of school rookie, but anyone that's done this a while and pays attention knows what truck stops will have available parking along their route. And that's a hell of a lot more dependable than some app that relies on information from the average steering wheel holder that cant tell a half empty lot from a full one.JonJon78 Thanks this. -
Im the guy in the farthest corner from the door. Lots of benefits to parking as far away as possible. Exercise, quiet, cooler temperature, and less likely to get my truck or load damaged by some nitwit that doesn't know how to use a mirror.JonJon78 Thanks this.

And you continue proving my point that y’all don’t even use the app, yet are yapping about it and even telling me how to use the app. Please.

And yes, please stay away from Trucker Path. -
Yes, sure. Whatever you say. I’m a newbie driver.

Didn't say you were. I said I don't find it useful. Today I booked a 15'6" wide load, will be the 3rd one this year. When dealing with travel curfews I need 100% dependability. Is truckers path 100% dependable? If not it is entirely useless to me.JonJon78 Thanks this.

I never said I dont use the app, as been stated above the parking status function on it is nearly useless when folks have their own criteria for parking availability.
The app has more useful features for me that I like as it lists some truck stops/parking areas that arent listed in my truck parking book, truck washes, etc etc.
So take your own advice and quit yapping.Rideandrepair and spyder7723 Thank this.
