It's been soaked through with sweat so many times, the hat itself just feels weird anymore. Not sure if it's dirt, mold, or fungus or combination thereof. But the fabric on the bill rolling up now, well I had to put 'er down. Was the humane thing to do.
It's almost black now, not blue.
This is also how martial artists got there black belts. Traditional goes white, brown, black.
And the reason for that is the sweat and fungus over the years would turn the new guys belt brown, then black.InTooDeep, x1Heavy, WesternPlains and 2 others Thank this. -
Made my delivery today , ended up ankle deep in jobsite mud and got to fold my tarps up in that sloppy mess , i asked the guy , " is there a better place to untarp that isnt a frickin mud hole?" "sorry driver we got a good rain last night , just take ur time no rush. " atleast them guys was cool as heck, but sheesh there wasnt an inch of my clothes that wasnt covered in mud and think it added 20 pounds to my tarps , sometimes flatbedding makes me wonder if its even worth it LOL

Well, if you think that's bad, I dropped and hooked, sprayed liquid wrench on my 5th wheel linkages, greased said 5th wheel, and was back out the gate in 18 minutes.

Fold your tarps on top of your load in those situations. They dont have to be folded perfect, just enough to get unloaded and down the road to a better spot.
Also, Ive been going to get some spring clamps to hold the ends of the tarps when I fold them up. My 8ft'ers I fold each side to the center, then fold those im half, then fold one side on top of the other. I save 15min and the work of pulling them off and spreading them on the ground.D.Tibbitt, Cattleman84 and WesternPlains Thank this. -
So Newman had the race won, and Blaney wrecked him out, and Newman is afu.

Oh and I said screw driving all the way to Houston for a 4am drop. I called my Houston dispatcher earlier and she was light on freight for tomorrow, so I called the HD I deliver to, and told the manager I didn't have enough hours to get there. So I rescheduled for 4am Thurs. This will set me up perfect to load in Houston Thurs morning.
No more late loading times with super early delivery times. It'd be one thing if I could have loaded, done my reset got some sleep and rolled, but that wouldn't have worked either.D.Tibbitt and WesternPlains Thank this. -
I didnt see the race, anyone have a link to video of the wreck?
D.Tibbitt and WesternPlains Thank this. -
