Hey grc, sounds like my first load out of Gary. I picked up a load of paper going to Atlanta and it took a extra day to get there. The only time I could get up to 60, was going down a big hill. I had to take it to a Fl dealership in Atlanta to get repaired. The engine brake was broken and it was on all the time.

You will find out real quick, Gary and Ellenwood is not the place to pick up trucks or get repairs. Marshfield does real good work.

    Good driving to you..

    GRC,
Sorry about your truck situation. Hang tough it gets alot better. Sometimes at first it is tough to get used to the lifestyle but it does omprove. Attitude is 90% of the job and you seem to have a good one. Good luck on your next truck.

I'm not too worried about the truck ...yet ...... I have a can't miss appointment on tuesday so yesterday, since there is a serious lack of freight in Ellenwood, I was deadheaded home to Seyour (Knoxville area) with loaner which will have to go back to Gary .... so I home till teusday afternoon .... I did speak with my dsr and requested that when I get back on tues, she run the heck out of me for at least 14 days since finances have/are taking a serious hit ...... hope everything is going well for everyone else ..... once I get a permanent truck, I'll give ya my number so we can chat over a cup of coffee (if we're breaking at the same place) ..... be safe and y'all are in my prayers for a safe a prosperous week .....
