Western Express & DAC

Wait...they won't let you haul freight but kids and people are ok?! Am I the only one that sees something wrong there?!

 

That depends on what the felony is, I guess. If the felony is some kind of theft, companies tend to think it puts expensive cargo at risk.

 

I guess that's true. Just the sound of it made me laugh. And I also know there are a lot of good people that have caught charges for things that are out of there control. I'm all for second chances..Lord knows I have gotten my fair share of them!!

 

(Sorry for rehashing an old thread)

I found out just recently that western express put something negative on my dac report (can’t remember at the moment what they said but I’ll look when I try and dispute it)

What happened was (if I remember correctly) I was given a load going from Chicago to Sacramento in like 34 hours, which I said “couldn’t be done safely”, after arguing with dm about me “refusing” a load (I wasn’t), I was told to bring equipment back to Nashville (I was in Chicago at the time) , when I got there, a big 6’5 dude came and threw a greyhound ticket at me....(the slip to go upstairs to get the greyhound ticket actually)


I Watched it hit the ground, looked up at him, grinned and told him: “I didn’t take greyhound here (I flew) and won’t going home”, then proceeded to walk away, he yelled, and used a little profanity in front of about 20 people telling me “you’re done here” (no.... really? LOL)

I truly believe he wanted me to beg for my job....

anyway, 6 years later I find out they say I owe them a couple grand because I breached they’re contract, and they dinged my DAC REPORT....

Thanks to KAG WEST for bringing it to my attention when I applied to them or I wouldn’t have even known. It didn’t effect me though.
