Whew !! What a day ! Been sitting two days waiting on a district in Tx to approve us delivering on a weight restricted rd. Finally got permit this morning at 8:30. Four of us took off. I was leading the way, Mitch, Mike and Shane bringing up the rear. We get south of Livingston Tx. On a two lane and Mike screams on the radio a car hit him ! Then Ole Shane yells it's bad !
Some lady went left of center and slammed into the sideboom Mike was hauling ! Ripped it open like a can opener ! Spun her around and ejected her. The mini van glanced off his right rear trailer tire (blowing it out and bending rim) flipped on its side and got hug up on stinger axle blowing both tires ! Ripped her arm dang near clean off ! Deep cuts all over her body.....but still alive ! Ole Mike is ok but shook up. He's going to send me pics later. After DOT inspected the truck and took him to pee in cup they released him. Between the four of us we had enough tires and a oil cap to get him back up and running. Now I'm hammering through the night to grab a load for friday. Busy day !!!

 

We'll see what happens. I'd take you up on that, you'd be well fed and "watered".
I'm also looking at 544a JD wheel loader over by Rolla, Missouri. It would be way easier to move from place to place, since I could drive it. The crawler will require a trailer to go from the house to the shop, which is only 5 blocks. For some reason, they frown on tracked vehicles driving on city streets.

705 today... tomorrow is looking like a 715. 690 on Friday.

Came up I75 to the 285W bypass. Dropped at the airport care of Swissport off loop rd.. Rolled in ~0845.

It would sure be nice to have as much work as you do. And aren't you usually off this time of year?

 

Normally from Thanksgiving till end of january. But didn't have to do any major repairs this year and they needed the extra trucks so I caved !
