truck parking in or near brooklyn,ny

I live out east on "the Island" as they call it, and I had similar problems. It was one of the deciding factors of me leaving OTR recently! Short version I live way out in Suffolk Cty about 65 miles from civilazation.lol. Anyway there are none, repeat no truckstops on LI. The Town I live in as narrow
hilly roads built in the 20's for model "T" 's i guess? lol. Wish I could be more helpful but, maybe HomeDepot's or I heard a guy that parked at the race track(Belmont) or Aquaduct? worth a shot? bug-out!

Ok, this might be a little far for you... But everytime I have to deliver to the City, I base my run out of Pennsylvania. I usually stay at any of the stops on 78 before you get into Jersey. You might be able to get yourself an old beater car and leave it somewhere out here for the commute. I feel for you, parking is tight to begin with, and parking in Jersey or the City is basically unheard of. Good luck!

 

theres a truck yard/parking lot on 125st between 2nd and 3rd thatll take your tractor-trailer

they got 24hr security so you know its safe
