Problem: Regen light continuously on, it regen every 1100km. Normally regen is supposed to last 40 mins, but it goes for 1,5 hrs to 2. Engine sounds a bit derated or retarded. Engine break is sluggish and pick up is low.

I have changed the DPF filter about 40,000 kms. There are no codes of any kind. On insite i cannot see any reading from Delta P sensor, I've changed that ti a brand new sensor from cummins, but still there are no readings from delta P sensor. Also the lines are not clogged. When I unplug the delta P sensor it does throw a code and a yellow check engine light. To all these problems, the probable culprit is the delta p harness. I would appreciate any help or ideas. I AM not good at diagnosing electrical problems.

Are you having a lot of oil in your crankcase filter or oil in the exhaust from the turbo? I have seen those two things cause this exact problem.

    Aliz15 Thanks this.

Right now the biggest concern I have is no reading from the delta P sensor, it always reads 0.

Sounds like doser nozzle is clogged. Go to rawze.com or look up rawze on UTube. Cummins EGR guru. Tons of how to videos.

I’m having the same issues as well. My truck was in Cummins Shop on feb 10-12 and supposedly was DPF Issues clean the filter changed 3 Sensors, lines, changed a crack filter case $7,200 repairs and aferre 1,800 miles the truck started asking for frequents regens every 200 then 70 miles. Back to the same Cummins shop because they know what they did and now they are saying this:
“We are in the process of troubleshooting the fault codes on unit 0214. We checked the aftertreatment flow. It is in spec. Gained access to the DPF and the catalyst. We are installing the aftertreatment injector at this time. After the injector is installed we will be putting the unit on the dyno to run it under load with the aftertreatment system disconnected so that we can check for black smoke. If we have black smoke we then have to determine what is causing the black smoke. Be it injector (s), turbo or possibly a combination of both.“
    Any suggestions?

Now 763400. We took it to Cummins Shop, (the same shop that work it on the first time) but they said that they performed all test and the catalyst was bad because the DPF was doing all the burning instead the catalyst. They charged me $6,791.01 more and now the warning engine light is back on and is reading code 2754.
