Former USMC Disabled Vet, looking to put another vet in my truck.
Are you having a hard time adjusting?
    Getting home for appointments?
Finding a company that understands you have different needs than most?
I spent a year in Fallujah. I've seen it, I know it.

    Heres what I'm looking for:
Fellow veteran, good communication, and work ethic.
Would really prefer an OIF/OEF vet.
Need to have 3yrs verifiable experience.
Prefer 1+yr flat/step experience but i can train if I feel you can handle it, OSOW experience a major plus.
Prefer you to be familiar with booking your own loads, again I can work with you on this.
Prefer non smokers, vaping is fine.

    My equipment
    2018 Kenworth W900L with a studio sleeper.
    525 Cummins with a 13spd,
    Thermoking tripac, inverter, bunk heater
    Combo step deck with ramps.
I dont carry tarps, but if you have run them and dont mind it I can add them.
We annual truck/trailer every 3 months

Our parent company is ATS Freeway. Yes they are out of Chicago. No you dont need to be, I'm in GA. Steve(one of the owners) is about as pro American as you can find. Really great people. They can help you at anytime with almost anything, if I were to be unavailable. Great safety record, Keep Trucking ELDs, dispatchers, and someone available 24/7.

Areas. I prefer someone based out of the SE, but I'm open to most areas. I personally dont cross NY/NJ state lines, but have no objection if you want to.

    My company.
I started PT because I had the familiar issues with the VA, and then again with the trucking industry. I have a Service Dog for my PTSD, and she basically saved my life. I want to now help others the way she(and my family) helped me.
You have a dog? Bring it(just keep the truck clean as if it was yours). You need help and VA is stonewalling you, I will be there.
Weapons policy? I dont care, as long as you have a permit and stay legal in the states you run.
Possibilities for the future include wifi setups if your providers are okay with video calls, moving to RGN/HH/reefers, and even a path to purchasing the truck for the right driver.

Home time. This will depend on your abilities.
I will put it this way. If you can maintain 5k a week in revenue, I dont care if you are home every night. If you can book yourself, you schedule your home time when you want it.

Pay, again this will depend on your abilities.
You will be paid a % of the gross revenue, with increases once I see your abilities. This will be a 1099 position.
    770-7five6-2327, Blake

Semper Fi Marine. Former 1371 Combat Engineer Marine and Army Transportation Officer. 100% DAV also and retired federal LEO. I'm glad to see you get the help and assistance you needed. If I didnt already own my truck here in the Florida panhandle I would definitely take you up on your offer but just got it back after an engine swap and now I'm looking to lease on with someone. Good luck Marine.

Started driving a dump truck when I was 13 for my grandpa. when I turned 17 I got my cdl but my dad told me to do something else for a career so I did but never gave up driving. I'm 46 now. Retired in 2012 and been pretty much doing it full time since then except when the VA decides they need to fix body parts on me. Before my truck locked up the motor I was pulling a stepdeck. Trying to decide if I want to go back to that or reefer now because of my back.
